(Katherine had to go to a colored washroom in another building because she was not allowed to use the washroom inside the workplace). Eventually, the team leader Harrison had to smash the colored-washroom sign to make it clear that we are all equal.

Under that pressure, Harrison led by example by calling his family members to say that he will need to work extra time and walk extra miles to send US astronauts into space. Many of his team members did the same thing and they devoted themselves to their mission.
