The legend of KORRA

The legend of Korra is a TV series that all of my family members enjoyed.

In season 2, it addresses a big fight in physical world and spiritual world. Avata Korra is a human and she is fused with Raava, a spirit representing goodness, peace and light; Unalaq, Korra’s uncle is fused with Vattu, a spirit representing evil, violence, and darkness. They had a good fight both in physical world and spiritual world.

Tenzin is Korra’s spiritual mentor. He is very knowledgeable about spiritual things. He read and study ancient books. it is his knowledge in his BRAIN that finally guided Korra to seek her inner self and get energy from the center of universe to defeat Unalaq. However, Tenzin himself does not has any PRACTICAL experience getting into spiritual world when he tried to teach Korra. Eventually, his daughter who is gifted in knowing spiritual things helped Korra and Tenzin getting into spiritual world. In the spiritual world, Tenzin got lost in the fog (a lost of identify). He always identified himself as the son of Avata Ann. His father enlightened him that he just needs to be himself.

In Korra’s spiritual journey, he found deep connections between herself and her ancestors and she gained strength from them. She also gained strength from Raava. But Korra could not gain strength from Raava when Raava was captured by Vattu. Under the guidance of Tenzin, she mediated in the tree of time and she found her inner self and got energy from the center of universe.

Biblically speaking, in the old testament time, usually the holy spirit was ON a person, such as David or a prophet. In the new testament time, holy spirit dwells INSIDE any believer. Sometimes, when human interact with spirit, it is hard to say whether an act is done by human or by spirit, or by both. I guess the highest level would be that the spirit and human get fused together and act as one. In China, it is called the unity between spirit and human body.

The season 1 and 2 are in both Amazon prime and Netflex. Enjoy.
